Overview

Bedrock Manufacturing Europe BV is a subsidiary of Bedrock Inc., which owns the Filson and Shinola brands.

We are looking for a conscientious, energetic team-player, to join our small team in our Amsterdam office. The main responsibilities of this role include managing our customer service needs.

 

In this role, reporting to our Operations Manager, he/she will be the main point of contact for our customers: primarily e.commerce and retail store customers.

 

 

The position interfaces with sales and logistics to ensure high-quality service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as key point of contact for enquiries from our customers.
  • Process customer e.commerce orders in Magento, including pre-release fraud verification.
  • Respond to customer care communications via e-mail, phone or chat.
  • Manage customer repairs, replacements & returns, including tracking & logging.
  • Coordinate general office shipments.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • HBO or equivalent education/work experience.
  • 2+ years previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised with a positive attitude and ability to handle customer situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Strong listener who will understand situations and apply the correct priority and sense of urgency to the approach/solution.
  • A team player able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of French or German is considered an asset.
  • Enjoy working in an international environment.
  • Experience with Magento is considered an asset.
