Assist in receiving, storing, issuing and delivering of supplies, maintaining inventory control, and doing the required recordkeeping.


  • Unload delivery truck by hand or by use of pallet jack and lift plate.
  • Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and code numbers with information on invoice or packing slip and purchase orders; record any discrepancies or damage.
  • Open crates and other containers using hand tools to unpack items received.
  • Inspect shipments for damage and defects.Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including pallet jack, and handcart.
  • Sort and store items according to established procedures.
  • Maintain manual inventory records, take cycle counts and physical count periodically, and check against inventory control totals using computer.
  • Read and fill packing slips for items ordered. Verify accuracy of orders pulled.
  • Ship product using the most economical and reasonable way to ensure products reaches destination in the desired timing.
  • Load delivery truck by hand or by use of pallet jack and lift plate.
  • Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures.
  • Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, carrying, etc.
  • Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
  • Detect needed repairs on equipment by following established inspection procedures.
  • Other related duties will be assigned from time to time. 


  • Must demonstrate a strong, positive attitude and ability to handle internal and external customer situations, while remaining calm, professional, and in control.
  • Candidate must exhibit the ability to clearly communicate with customers – both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task, specifically as it relates to handling different products and categories, parts, answering phones, managing orders, and performing additional tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to actively listen to understand situations and apply the correct priority and sense of urgency to the approach/solution.
  • Must possess exceptional accuracy in data/order entry.
  • Proficient with computers
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • High School diploma
