  • Overview

    The Product Information Management Professional is responsible for accurate creation, maintenance and management of all SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) data for raw materials and finished goods, to also include bill of materials. Training others in ERP/MRP policies and procedures as needed.


    • Creation, maintenance and management of SKU descriptions and configurations including entry/updating ERP/MRP system
    • Maintenance of accurate bill of materials, labor, cost and pricing data
    • Collection and validation material information and purchasing and selling costs
    • Collection and validation of bill of materials from Product Development/Engineering
    • Update necessary data relative to Product Change Notices
    • Manage National Retail Federation (NRF) color codes within ERP system.
    • Liaison with Product Development, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales & Planning
    • Perform training on business processes and ERP/MRP system.
    • Projects to improve Supply Chain performance, such as purchase price data analysis, category specifications to lead to better reporting.
    • Ability to develop systems or processes to eliminate waste. Such as writing Excel databases or Sequel databases to interact with the data in Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP/MRP System)


    • Experience with the maintenance and management of product information
    • Very strong attention to accuracy and detail
    • Very strong communication
    • Very strong Microsoft Suite Skills including, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Experience with ERP/MRP systems a must
    • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (ERP System) preferred
    • Preference to work in a fast paced, evolving and deadline driven environment.
    • Self-motivated, team player with the ability to coordinate workload independently to complete tasks in accordance with service levels and time-lines with a focus on exceeding expectations.
    • Well organized, detail-oriented and customer service focused.
    • Experience working in an Omni-channel company that has both e-commerce and traditional storefront presence is a plus.
